Alice is the daughter you raise across the entire game. Born to the great light mage Sara and your player character, she begins her journey at the Royal Magic Academy with boundless potential. Her stats, personality, and ultimate career are entirely shaped by your choices. She can grow into a brave hero, a wise archmage, a charming princess, or even a notorious criminal — all 50+ endings represent a different version of Alice.

A former cleric who once fought alongside the legendary light mage Sara to seal the demon gate. Now a widower, he has dedicated his life to raising Alice alone in the kingdom of Panetelia. Though his adventuring days are behind him, his guidance shapes every aspect of Alice's growth.

Sara was the most powerful light mage of her generation. She led the party that defeated the dark sorcerer attempting to open the demon gate, married the player character, gave birth to Alice, and passed away from illness shortly after. Her legacy is woven throughout the story and fully revealed in the Heir of the Stargazer true ending.

Shail is a passionate warrior-in-training at Gladius Academy and one of Alice's earliest friends. Unlike the other companions who join at Friend affinity, Shail requires Close Friends status before he'll enter your dungeon party. He provides powerful physical attack buffs that synergize perfectly with STA builds. His personal story arc involves overcoming the shadow of his famous warrior father.

Fran is Alice's classmate at the Royal Magic Academy, born into the prestigious Bluebell noble family. She rose quickly through the ranks to become a Knight — an unusual path for someone of her social standing. Fran specializes in focused single-target magic bursts that complement AOE-weak INT builds. Her character arc explores the tension between her noble duties and her own desires.

Chocolat is the warmest and most approachable of Alice's companions. An apprentice healer at the Royal Magic Academy's infirmary, she wields restorative light magic that keeps the party alive in tough dungeon encounters. She is the strongest early-game companion choice for any build, providing the healing stability that lets you explore deeper floors from Year 1.

Hasis is a mysterious magic user with an intense and reserved personality. While Fran brings noble elegance to magic, Hasis brings raw destructive power — his skills focus on concentrated burst damage against single high-priority targets. Combining Fran and Hasis in an INT party creates devastating offensive coverage.
